The National Flag was hoisted by the President of the School Managing Committee, Shri Prem Prakash Arya, followed by the National Anthem. The ceremonial March Past by the four Houses—Dayanand, Aurobindo, Vivekananda and Shradhanand—added grandeur and discipline to the celebration.

The cultural programme showcased the remarkable talent and creativity of the students through patriotic songs, instrumental performances, Nukkad Natak and several other vibrant presentations. Parents and students also witnessed the live programme, making the celebration a truly collective and joyous occasion.

In his address, Shri Prem Prakash Arya, President, SMC, highlighted the importance of nurturing righteous values, discipline and character in students. He particularly emphasised the significance of the daily Havan conducted as part of the school routine, describing such practices as an important means of instilling values that remain with students throughout their lives.

The celebration also conveyed a powerful message about the struggles and sacrifices through which India achieved freedom and the importance of staying united as a nation.
