DAV Nandraj Public School Resonates with a Play on Forest Conservation and Plantation Drive
On the first day of the Van Mahotsav celebrations being organized from July 1 to July 7 at DAV Nandraj Public School, Ranchi, students and teachers, under the leadership of Principal Dr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary, planted medicinal, fruit-bearing, and flowering plants in the school campus on Wednesday.
On this occasion, students of the school also presented an inspiring play on the theme of forest conservation. Through their impactful performances, they conveyed the message that trees and plants are essential for human life, the environment, and the existence of all living beings. Through the play, students also highlighted why the protection of forests and trees is necessary and how life without them is unimaginable. Students and teachers took a pledge that every individual would plant at least one tree and take responsibility for its protection. Everyone resolved to protect the environment and make the Earth greener.
Principal Dr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary stated that trees and plants are an integral part of our lives. They play a significant role in maintaining a clean and balanced environment. Therefore, planting and protecting trees is the collective responsibility of all of us. He further said that under the New Education Policy, the school is continuously making efforts not only to provide academic knowledge but also to create awareness among children about nature and environmental conservation. This initiative is an important step towards developing a sense of environmental responsibility among students and making them responsible citizens towards the Earth. He added that today’s children will become the environmental guardians of the future and spread the message of greenery and cleanliness in society.
