DAV Nandraj Public School organized an exciting cricket match today between the Class 12 students and the newly joined Class 11 students. The friendly six-over match created a lively atmosphere filled with energy, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm.
Batting first, Class 11 put up a competitive total of 69 runs. Chasing the target, Class 12 displayed excellent teamwork and determination and emerged victorious after an exciting contest.
The match was inaugurated by our respected Principal, Dr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary, who added charm to the occasion by playing a few balls himself before officially commencing the match. It was a delightful moment for everyone to witness his encouragement and support for student activities.
The initiative aimed to remind students of the importance of real sports and physical activities over spending excessive time watching or playing cricket on mobile phones. The objective was to encourage students to participate actively in games, develop interest in physical exercise, and understand the value of teamwork, discipline, and healthy competition.
