“Lord Shri Krishna is an Ideal Example of a Life Worth Emulating” — Acharya Kuldeep
Ranchi, 07 September 2026:
A seven-day Shri Krishna Katha, organised by the Senior Citizen Home, operated by Arya Gyan Prachar Samiti, Ranchi, commenced today at DAV Nandraj Public School, Bariatu Road, Ranchi.
The Katha will be held from 7th September to 12th September 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and will conclude on 13th September 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
The programme began with a Yajna at the school’s Yajna Shala, performed by renowned preacher Acharya Kuldeep Ji, who also blessed the yajmans and devotees.
Following this, Shri S.L. Gupta, President of the Arya Gyan Prachar Samiti, Ranchi, Smt. Sushila Gupta, Patron of Arya Samaj Ranchi, Shri Sunil Gupta, Minister of the Committee, Shri Rajendra Arya, Minister of Arya Samaj Ranchi, Shri Ajay Arya, and senior member, Shri Diwakar Dev, welcomed Acharya Ji with garlands.
Shri Ajay Arya and Shri Sunil Gupta also honoured the accompanying musicians with traditional cloths, symbolising the cultural identity of Jharkhand.
The dignitaries, along with Acharya Kuldeep Ji lit the lamp, marking the formal inauguration of the Katha.
Addressing the gathering, Acharya Kuldeep Ji highlighted the relevance of Lord Krishna’s life and teachings in the present times. Explaining the need for Krishna in the Dwapar era, he observed that India today is facing circumstances where the values and personality of Lord Krishna are equally relevant. He said that Krishna had the courage to counsel Duryodhana, warn him through the revelation of the Vishwaroop when necessary, and even break his own vow for the larger cause of protecting the nation.
He emphasised that one should not hesitate to make small sacrifices for a greater good and should develop the habit of recognising reality and truth. He stressed that national security and the larger interest of the nation must always come first, while individual interests should remain secondary.
Acharya Ji further reminded the audience that the hardships and challenges faced by Lord Krishna were far greater than those faced by people today, yet people often become discouraged by comparatively smaller difficulties. He urged everyone to draw inspiration from the life of Shri Krishna and strive to live by his ideals and teachings.
The programme concluded at 7:00 p.m. with Shanti Path, followed by the distribution of Prasad.
