DAV Nandraj Public School commemorated Kargil Vijay Diwas with great pride and patriotism through a series of inspiring activities, paying heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers who safeguarded the nation’s honour during the Kargil War.
The celebration commenced with a Special Assembly, where students and teachers remembered the supreme sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces. Patriotic speeches, thought-provoking skit and a patriotic song were presentedby the students.
A special Western Patriotic Dance showcased the spirit of unity and love for the nation through a contemporary artistic expression.
The tiny tots of Bal Vatika (Pre-Primary) charmed the audience with a delightful patriotic song dedicated to Mother India, reflecting innocence, enthusiasm, and love for the nation.
To encourage creativity and patriotic expression, the school also organised a Drawing Competition, Poster-Making Competition, and Special Classroom Activities based on the theme of Kargil Vijay Diwas. Students expressed their gratitude towards the brave soldiers through colourful artworks, posters, and meaningful classroom discussions.
The programme concluded with a pledge to uphold the values of courage, unity, discipline, and patriotism.
