Youth Carnival celebration at D.A.V. Nandraj Public, Bariatu
To commemorate the 161st birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand, DAV Nandraj Public School, Bariatu organized Youth Carnival with great zeal and enthusiasm on 12th of January 2024.
It included a series of thematic performances ranging from devotion to family values, patriotism, unity in diversity, parental love, social issues and many more. The Chief Guest of the event was Mrs. Dipti Kumari SDEO, Ranchi. A galaxy of dignitaries like ths President of the school, Shri Prem Prakash Arya, Shri Punit Poddar, Shri R. K. Arya, Shri Ajay Arya, Mr. L. R. Saini, Shri Mr Amit Charan, Mr. Akhilesh Dubey and Mr. Sanjay Jain graced the occasion. The Youth Carnival meticulously planned by the students and staff of the school, showcased the activities and presentations to the parents and guests followed by the ceremonial function. The skit on Child Labour enacted by the students awakened each individual to take the lead, start a new beginning and build a bright future for the children.
Apart from these, a book on moral education was released, an exhibition of projects prepared by the students of various departments were put to display. The East India Company, Mutual Fund Building, the evolution of human beings, the freedom struggle, scenes of Ramayana through puppet show, Arts & Crafts, Science Displays, Art of living, Social Upliftment, Robotics, etc. were some of the exhibition stalls. The spectators enjoyed not only the creativity of the students but also the food court where students showcased their cooking skills.
A medical checkup cum blood donation camp was also organized by Lake View Hospital Medical team. Dr. Ghazala Khurshid, Dr. Diksha, Sister Sushila Kumari, Dr. M. Sharan and other staff members of the hospital were present for the same.
The Principal Mr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary blessed the students and encouraged them. He said, “Try to preserve, practice, profess and propagate creativity which will lead you on the path of progress and prosperity.”
