Valedictory Ceremony with Various Activities on the Fifth Day of the Summer Camp at D.A.V. Nandraj Public School, Bariatu

Ranchi, 24 May – On the fifth day of the summer camp at D.A.V. Nandraj Public School, Bariatu, a grand valedictory ceremony was organized with a series of engaging activities in which 115 students from classes VI to VIII participated.

As part of the CBSE-organized Indian Languages Summer Camp, children showcased the richness of Indian civilization and culture by wearing traditional costumes of various states and introducing themselves in the respective regional languages. They also performed traditional dances representing those regions. Languages included Punjabi, Bengali, Gujarati, Nagpuri, Telugu, Hindi, Sanskrit, among others.

Additionally, a quiz based on Indian languages was conducted, during which the school Principal, Mr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary, along with other teachers, asked questions to the students. The music teachers also encouraged the students by singing melodious songs.

Addressing the students, the respected Principal, Mr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary, stated that India is a country of incredible linguistic diversity where millions of people speak hundreds of languages, reflecting the nation’s cultural richness. He emphasized that this unity in diversity is leading us toward becoming a “Vishwaguru” (world leader). To evoke a sense of Indian identity among the students, he recited the poem “Himadri Tung Shring Se” by Jaishankar Prasad.

He also appreciated the efforts of all the teachers involved in the language summer camp.

On the last day of the summer camp, students of Class XII also participated and thoroughly enjoyed the activities. They watched The Jungle Book movie along with the younger students and appreciated the cultural performances that showcased the diverse languages, traditions, and ethical values of India.

The day’s session concluded with the National Anthem, marking the successful end of the enriching summer camp experience.
