Third In-House CBSE Training on Promoting Mental Health and Well-Being Among Students

The Third In-House CBSE Teachers’ Training at DAV Nandraj Public School, Bariatu, Ranchi, was successfully conducted on the theme “Promoting Mental Health and Well-Being Among Students.” The session was guided by experienced resource persons Mr. Prasenjit Kumar Thakur and Mr. Aniket Mishra, both known for their valuable contributions to education and student welfare.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing knowledge and positivity. This was followed by a soulful musical play presented by the school band, Waves, setting a serene and reflective tone for the day.

The training session emphasized the importance of mental wellness in the school environment. It focused on how classrooms can be transformed into safe and emotionally nurturing spaces for students. Discussions were held on identifying early signs of mental stress among students and fostering a culture of openness, empathy, and support.

The event was graced by the presence of the school principal, Dr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary, who appreciated the initiative and addressed the gathering with motivational words. He spoke about life’s unpredictable journey and the importance of mental strength in overcoming challenges.

Adding to the significance of the day, Mrs. Jhumpa Singh, Headmistress of DAV Modern Public School, Lalpur, also shared her insights. She stressed the role of teachers in safeguarding the emotional health of students and called mental well-being the foundation of a happy and successful life.

The training concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where teachers shared their experiences and committed themselves to creating a more supportive and mentally healthy school environment
