Third Day of Summer Camp at D.A.V. Nandraj Public School Focused on the Theme – “Indian Languages”

Ranchi, May 22 – The third day of the summer camp at D.A.V. Nandraj Public School, Bariatu, commenced with great enthusiasm, with active participation from 94 students of classes VI to VIII. The day began with self-defense training through martial arts, where students learned various techniques. This was followed by a yoga session including Surya Namaskar, during which the yoga instructor explained the benefits of regular yoga practice.

As a part of the CBSE-organized Indian Language Summer Camp, students were introduced to Vedic chants and learned about the Vedas. Under the same program, they also learned the Telugu language, including how to introduce themselves, communicate common real-life phrases, and use various Telugu words in context.

Students performed Punjabi and Bengali dances, showcasing their cultural enthusiasm. Toward the end of the camp, students watched the inspirational and educational film “I Am Kalam.”

The respected Principal of the school, Mr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary, addressed the students and encouraged them to consider Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam as their role model. He advised them to follow the path of duty with dedication and also blessed the students with his valuable words, boosting their morale.
