The Principal, Mr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary, addressing the gathering said that the freedom the country received on 15th August 1947, was merely political freedom. The need of the hour is to eradicate the country from poverty, corruption, terrorism, caste and creed segregation, bitterness and narrow-mindedness. Only then the country will be free in its true sense. The ceremony ended with the vote of thanks to all who have gathered in the campus to celebrate the day.
