DAV Nandraj Public school campus is buzzing with different activities to actively participate in the awareness program organised by Department of School Education and Literacy, Jharkhand Government ,against Drug Abuse .

To proceed with the important cause the students of classes VI to VIII showcased their artistic prowess in the drawing competition on the topic ‘STOP DRUG ABUSE’ hosted by our school , dedicated to raising awareness about the pressing issue of drug abuse.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students each eager to showcase their artistic talents and contribute to this significant cause.

Throughout the event, it was evident that the students had not only put in effort into their artwork but had also engaged deeply with the subject matter.

Many of the drawings conveyed powerful messages through symbolic imagery and poignant artwork with the hues of different colours, reflecting the serious nature of drug abuse and the urgent need for awareness and prevention.

Speaking on the occasion , Honourable Principal Dr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary praised the participants for their commitment to promoting the awareness on drug abuse.He emphasised the importance of fostering the awareness and urging students to use their artistic talent as a tool for advocacy for a drug free future.

He added that this competition is not just about showcasing the artistic talents, but also about using creativity to raise awareness and spread a powerful message in our school and beyond.

This competition has indeed planted seeds of awareness and commitment in our school community, fostering a collective resolve to combat drug abuse. We are incredibly proud of all the students who participated and contributed to this important cause.

Their voices are a powerful tool in the fight against the drug abuse, and we look forward to continuing this conversation and spreading awareness through their impactful creativity and artwork .
