The day 2 of Shiksha Saptah began with storytelling, number games, Jadui Pitara, word games and Foundational Literacy and Numeracy Day at D.A.V. Nandraj Public School. The students presented a number of ways on how to use charts, 3-D models and activities for enhancing foundational literacy and numeracy among children.
More than 200 students and 35 teachers participated in the event. They were very much interested in applying the same methodology in the classrooms so as to achieve optimum goals.
The Principal Dr. Ravi Prakash Tiwari appriciated the endevours of students and teachers. He said, “Learning by doing is the need of the hour, we have to achieve all the goals set under NEP 2020.”
The students interacted with the parents and made them aware about FLN (NIPUN) and NEP 2020.
It was an enlightening session based on various activities which were not only pragmatic but also interesting.
