“Interest, ability and the right source of motivation are the keys to success,” said Dr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary, Principal. On Tuesday, 10th February 2026, DAV Nandraj Public School successfully conducted a Guidance and Counselling Session for the students of Class X and their parents. The session was organised to guide students during this crucial phase of their academic journey.
Addressing the parents, Principal Dr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary emphasised that the coming one month is extremely important for students, and they need maximum emotional and moral support from their parents.
He stated that during examination preparation, students often experience fatigue, anxiety, loss of confidence, and distraction, which may affect their performance. Hence, parents should remain close to their children, listen to their concerns patiently, and offer guidance without creating pressure.
He further highlighted that children are the most valuable asset of a family.
Parents should actively guide them in future decisions such as the choice of subjects, streams, and career paths, while also allowing students the freedom to think and decide independently.
Dr. Tiwary stressed that true success lies in understanding one’s strengths, interests, and sources of motivation. Mere desire does not lead to achievement; recognising one’s abilities and working hard in the right direction is essential.
He also informed parents about the new skill-based subjects introduced this year, including Healthcare, Marketing, Artificial Intelligence, Coding, Robotics & Drone Technology, Information Technology, Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology, Medical Diagnostics, Beauty & Wellness, Fashion Studies, and Mass Media Studies. Students may choose subjects according to their interest, but consistent effort and dedication are the keys to excellence.
He advised students to follow a simple and healthy diet, take adequate rest, and study with full concentration. The session concluded with a collective resolve to work sincerely and pray for the success and well-being of the students.
