D.A.V. Nandraj Public School achieved a remarkable milestone by participating in the prestigious international competition Made to Move Communities conducted by OTIS. This year’s theme was “Inclusive Mobility Solutions Driven by AI”. The online competition saw participation from 28 schools across 18 different countries.
Our students presented an innovative solution to a critical real-life issue: how emergency vehicles often get stuck in traffic, creating serious risks for patients and delays in critical services. The proposed solution used Artificial Intelligence (AI) to dynamically channelize and manage traffic flow, enabling emergency vehicles to move quickly and safely. This creative and practical idea was accepted and highly appreciated at the international level.
It is a matter of great pride that D.A.V. Nandraj Public School secured the 6th position at the Asia-Pacific level and was also the second school from India to participate in this esteemed competition.
On this proud occasion, Principal Dr. Ravi Prakash Tiwari expressed his happiness and said:
“This is indeed a proud moment for our school. International competitions like these give our students invaluable global exposure and motivate them to think creatively and innovatively. I firmly believe such experiences will elevate our students to new heights. This is also perfectly in line with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP), which promotes innovation, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving skills.”
Mr. P.P. Arya, President of the School Managing Committee (SMC), also extended his heartfelt congratulations to the students and wished them even greater success in the future.
