D.A.V Nandraj Public School conducted its 4th in-house training session on 5th June on the topic “Environmental Studies at the Elementary Level,” led by Dr. Manisha Tiwari. Teachers from Mahatma ND Grover Public School and D.A.V Nandraj participated in this enlightening event.
The session began with a lamp lighting ceremony. The resource person emphasized the importance of environmental conservation and the pivotal role teachers play in cultivating environmental awareness among young students.
She highlighted six key themes for elementary environmental education. These themes aim to instill a deep understanding and proactive approach to environmental stewardship in students.
The session was interactive and engaging, featuring various activities and hands-on projects which illustrated effective teaching methods. Teachers found the session both interesting and educational, gaining valuable insights and tools to enhance their curriculum.
