DAV Nandraj Public School, in collaboration with WCSF CharitySpirit Foundation, organized a special workshop on menstrual hygiene and breast cancer prevention for girl students of classes 6 to 12.
The program focused on the importance of using organic sanitary napkins, adopting safe menstrual practices, making eco-friendly choices, and understanding breast cancer awareness.
Vice-Principal Mrs. Roma Biswas stressed that such awareness is crucial for girls at this stage of life and added that the school continuously takes initiatives for the overall development of its girl students, extending beyond academics.
The interactive session included talks, demonstrations, and awareness discussions, where students actively participated and pledged to carry forward the message of “स्वस्थ नारी, स्वस्थ राष्ट्र” (Healthy Women, Healthy Nation).
