Day 1 of the training based on Experiential Learning began on 18th May, 2024 at D.A.V. Nandraj Public School, Bariatu. It was a very informative session.
The teachers understood the need for hands on learning besides getting a number of ideas for experiential learning activities to be conducted in the classrooms. The teachers found the session enriching and engaging . The resource persons Ms.
Anamika Shukla and Mr. Aniket Mishra asserted that in the changing education scenario, teachers need to constantly equip themselves with the latest trends. Teachers involved in a number of activities and learnt how the same may be done in classes.
They learnt the application and adaptability of concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation. The Principal DAV Nandraj Public School, Bariatu, Dr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary said, “Establishing clear objectives is pivotal in experiential learning. Clear goals guide the learning process, providing a roadmap for activities and reflections.
They ensure alignment between desired outcomes and the activities undertaken, enhancing the effectiveness and relevance of the learning experience.” 125 teachers from DAV Nandraj Public School, Bariatu and Mahatma N D Grover DAV Public School, Bundu attended the session.
