Ranchi, September 25, 2025 (Thursday): D.A.V. Nandraj Public School, Bariatu, celebrated Hindi Diwas with a grand cultural program, marking the conclusion of Hindi Fortnight. The celebration was filled with enthusiasm, creativity, and a strong message of unity through language.
The event was graced by Mr. Prem Prakash Arya, President of the School Managing Committee, and Principal Dr. Raviprakash Tiwari . The program began with a melodious welcome song by the students, coordinated by the school’s music teacher Mrs. Preeti Adhikari along with her team.
During the fortnight, a series of competitions were organized, including poetry recitation, quiz, drama, self-composed poetry, and handwriting contests, aimed at nurturing the linguistic and creative skills of students. On the final day, all winners were honored with prizes and certificates by the distinguished guests.
In his address, Principal Dr. Tiwari underlined the pioneering role of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati in promoting Hindi as a unifying language. “At a time when Hindi was still developing, Maharshi Dayanand, though Gujarati by birth, wrote Satyarth Prakash in Hindi and declared it the language that could unite India. We must adopt Hindi in our daily life to preserve our cultural unity,” he said.

Handwriting Competition: Aarit Sinha & Ananya Rani Mahato – First, Mohammad Arsh Alam & Akshita Singh – Second The celebration was made successful through the dedicated efforts of teachers including Mr. Ashok Pathak, Mrs. Reena Sahay, Mrs. Niharika Mishra, Mrs. Monika Pathak, Mrs. Deepa Jaiswal, Mrs. Anjali Periwal, and Mrs. Neetu Pandey, among others.
The event concluded with loud applause and appreciation, leaving students inspired to honor and promote the Hindi language in their everyday lives.
