Closing Ceremony of Aatm Suraksha Prashikshan Shivir (Self Defence Training Camp)

The Aatm Suraksha Prashikshan Shivir, which began on 26th September, concluded with an impressive ceremony at D.A.V. Nandraj Public School on 2nd October.

The chief guest for the event, Shri Dinesh Arya, Vice President of Arya Veer Dal, Delhi, commended the students for their commitment to learning essential self-defense techniques and encouraged them to further hone these skills.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including Shri P.P. Arya, President of School Managing Community ; Shri Rajendra Kumar Arya, Coordinator of Arya Gyan Prachar Samiti; Shri Ajay Arya; Shri Ashok Bhatia; Shri S.L. Gupta, President of Arya Gyan Prachar Samiti; Shri Sunil Gupta; Shri Sanjay Poddar; Shri Sanjay Jain; and Shri Diwakar Dev.

Their participation highlighted the importance of self-defense and physical fitness in the development of students’ character and resilience.

The event featured a remarkable showcase of Sarvang Sundar Vyayam, Surya Namaskar, Dumbbell exercises, and Lathi techniques, performed by the trainees.

These performances were met with applause and admiration, demonstrating the students’ dedication and the effectiveness of the training provided.

Recognition for exceptional performances was awarded, with prizes distributed in both the girls’ and boys’ categories. In the girls’ category, Ritika Kumari (XI PCB) secured the 1st prize, followed by Nikee Kumari (IX B) in 2nd place, and Sandhya Arya (VIII A) in 3rd.

In the boys’ category, Abhishek Kumar (XI Arts) won the 1st prize, Avinash Kumar (IX A) received the 2nd prize, and Sudhir Kumar Yadav (IX A) took 3rd place.

The Principal, Dr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary, expressed his gratitude to the guests and lauded the participants for their enthusiasm and hard work.

He also emphasized the ongoing relevance of these skills in everyday life, urging students to continue practicing self-defense for their safety and empowerment.

The ceremony concluded with the Arya Veer Dal Dhwaj Geet, marking the end of a successful camp that left a lasting impact on all participants.
