As part of “Bharat Raksha Parv,” a mission dedicated to celebrating and honouring the bravery of our Indian war heroes, a special programme was organized by Dainik Jagran on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The event took place in the Goonj Auditorium at DAV Nandraj Public School.
We were deeply honoured to welcome Subedar Chandel Oraon and Columbus Ekka, both from the 1st Bihar Regiment, as our special guests. They shared their courageous experiences from the Kargil War of 1999, recalling how they faced the battlefield as young and newly appointed officers. Their words inspired and touched the hearts of all present.
Our respected Principal, Dr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary, also addressed the gathering, reminding the students of the values of bravery, honesty, and steadfast commitment to the nation. In his heartfelt message, he emphasized that “Nation comes first.”
