The Summer Camp 2025, organised by the Dramatics and Linguistic Club of D.A.V. Nandraj Public School, was inaugurated on 20th May 2025 for the students of Classes VI to VIII. The camp, which will continue till 24th May, is focused on the holistic development of the students through a blend of physical, moral, linguistic, and creative activities.
The day began with an energetic Martial Arts session, where students learned self-defence techniques and discipline under expert guidance. This was followed by a spiritually enriching session on Vedic Values and Mantras, conducted at school’s Yagyashala, helping students connect with Indian cultural roots and values.
The third session was aligned with the CBSE’s “Bhartiya Bhasha” initiative, aimed at promoting multilingualism and love for Indian languages. Students participated enthusiastically in learning Punjabi on the first day, gaining exposure to a new script and basic conversational skills.
The day concluded with a motivational movie screening in Goonj, which left students inspired and reflective.
The initiative was warmly appreciated by Shri P.P. Arya, Secretary, Arya Gyan Prachar Samiti, who praised the school’s efforts in nurturing culturally rooted and confident individuals. Principal Dr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary also appreciated the enthusiasm of students and the dedication of the organising team.
The camp promises an exciting and educational journey in the days ahead.
