D.A.V. NANDRAJ PUBLIC SCHOOL was established by Arya Samaj in 1981 at Burdwan Compound, Lalpur, Ranchi. It was a pioneering initiative by Late Narayan Das Grover – a committed worker of Arya Samaj and true Karmayogi. He rendered selfless service and nurtured the institution with his valuable experience. The foundation stone was laid by Dr. Dukhan Ram, an eminent eye specialist and ex-President of Arya Pradeshik Sabha. Late Master Tek Chand Arya, Shri Madan Gopal Sethi, Shri Shatrughan Lal Gupta, Shri Prem Prakash Arya, and Shri Ashok Bhatia were the esteemed members of the local managing committee.Â
Later, the management body of the school was separated and the same members founded a society, Arya Gyan Prachar Samiti, Ranchi. Since then, their persistent efforts have guided us to achieve excellence in education. Our school has maintained a steady progress on the path shown by Swami Dayanand Saraswati, the great architect of modern India. He raised his voice against foreign rule in a publication titled Satyartha Prakash. He set before us the ideal of Swaraj and advocated the eradication of untouchability, the emancipation of women, and widow remarriage. He believed that a human being enters into a class of society according to Guna (talent), Karma (work), and Sadhbava (nature). Therefore, all people are born equal and also entitled to equal opportunities in society. Â Â
D.A.V. Nandraj family has been honouring its commitment towards excellence in education. We believe in working with focus and consistency to achieve our goals. We inspire and motivate our students to achieve academic excellence. Their true potential is realised when they get full support and guidance from mentors. We take special care of the underprivileged sections of our society by helping the children from such backgrounds to receive a proper education. It makes their dreams of a better life into a reality. We provide quality education and a positive environment necessary for the development of their personalities. We are always prepared to help them attain their full potential. Â
