Classes VI to VIII – Day 1
The Summer Camp 2026 for Classes VI to VIII at DAV Nandraj Public School began with great enthusiasm, excitement, and joyful participation. The school campus came alive with creativity, learning, cultural activities, and energetic performances as students actively took part in a variety of engaging sessions planned for the first day of the camp.
For the students of Class VI, the day started on an energetic note with lively Zumba sessions that filled the atmosphere with positivity and excitement. The students enthusiastically participated in the Bhasha Sangam activity, where they were introduced to the beauty of the Bengali language and culture, helping them develop linguistic appreciation and confidence. Their creativity flourished further through colourful Folk Art activities. Exciting games like Hoola Hoop and Frog Jump added fun and enjoyment, making the day lively and memorable for the young campers.
Meanwhile, students of Classes VII and VIII began their day with a peaceful Assembly and Hawan at the Yagyashala. The session provided them with valuable Vedic knowledge and moral learning, creating an atmosphere of discipline and positivity. The vibrant Bhasha Sangam presentation in Punjabi, accompanied by an energetic Bhangra performance, added cultural richness and enthusiasm to the programme.
One of the major attractions of the day was the Kavi Sammelan, conducted in two engaging rounds. In the second round, students showcased their creativity and poetic skills by composing poems on the topic “Prakriti” within just ten minutes. The outstanding performers were:
1st Position – Neetu Kumari (Class VI C)
2nd Position – Yug Prakash (Class VI C)
3rd Position – Tanvi Riddi (Class VII A)
The day also included exciting fun activities such as Dance and Freeze, which kept the students cheerful, active, and fully engaged throughout the programme.
The programme concluded on a melodious note with a mesmerising musical performance presented by Team Waves along with Music Teacher Priti Ma’am, leaving everyone spellbound and ending the day with joy and applause.
Overall, Day 1 of the Summer Camp was a perfect blend of learning, culture, creativity, spirituality, and entertainment, creating wonderful memories and a positive beginning for all the students.
