Big FM Honours Students of DAV Nandraj with “Big Gyan Gaurav Samman” !

On Friday, 24 April 2026, students of DAV Nandraj Public School, Bariatu, who secured above 80% marks from Classes VIII to XII, were honoured by Big FM 92.7 under its program “Big Gyan Gaurav Samman.” More than two hundred students were felicitated and were presented with awards and certificates in recognition of their academic excellence.

The program was graced by Mr. Omar Sadab Hashmi, Cluster Programming Head (Bihar–Jharkhand), Big FM 92.7; Mr. Anjani Kumar, Senior Sales Account Manager; Mr. Suraj Kumar; and Radio Jockey Ms. Rashi Jamoor.

The event also saw the presence and support of distinguished guests including Dr. Amit Kumar Dutta from Amity University, Mr. Manish Sinha from BIOME, Mr. Sunny Gope from MHA Shopping, Dr. S. S. Singh from Educative Heritage, and Mr. Aniket Kumar from Bhagwan Mahavir Medica Hospital, among others. The program was effectively hosted by RJ Rashi.

Addressing the students, Dr. Dutta emphasized that support and guidance would always be available whenever needed. He highlighted that the scope of education has expanded significantly and assured students that proper direction can help them excel in their chosen fields.

He also mentioned that this initiative would be conducted across 20 schools in Jharkhand, and DAV Nandraj was chosen as the first, acknowledging the unique potential of its students.

He stressed the importance of promoting both the institution and the talent of its students, which can only be achieved through dedication and hard work.

On this occasion, the Principal, Dr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary, advised students that knowledge alone is not sufficient to achieve success. Hard work, knowledge, and smartness together lead to true success. He encouraged students to remain grounded, not letting success lead to arrogance, but to accept it with humility and continue striving for excellence with determination and wisdom.

He expressed confidence that the students would uphold these values and achieve greater heights.

The event also featured vibrant cultural performances presented by the students, adding to the celebratory spirit of the occasion.
