Hrishav Thakur of D.A.V. Nandraj Public School Brings Laurels to Jharkhand at National Level !

Ranchi, Jharkhand: Hrishav Thakur, a student of Class VII-C of D.A.V. Nandraj Public School, Bariyatu Road, Ranchi, has brought pride to the state of Jharkhand by achieving outstanding success at the national level. He is the son of Mr. Narayan Thakur.

Hrishav Thakur has secured the top position in Jharkhand in his subject, HMI Flute, under the Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme (CTSSS) for the session 2025–2026. From the entire state of Jharkhand, only 5 students were selected across 5 different cultural fields, and Hrishav emerged as the best in his category.

This remarkable achievement is a reflection of his talent, hard work, and dedication.
On this occasion, the Principal, Dr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the student, teachers, and parents. He further informed that the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), New Delhi, conducts the Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme every year at the national level.

The scheme aims to identify and support talented students in the age group of 10 to 14 years in various cultural fields such as music, dance, drama, painting, sculpture, crafts, and literary arts.
Under this scheme, selected students are awarded a scholarship of ₹3600 per year, along with reimbursement of tuition fees paid to the Guru/Teacher, up to a maximum of ₹9000 per year.

A total of 650 scholarships are awarded across the country every year.Hrishav’s selection under this prestigious scheme is a matter of great pride not only for him but also for the entire school, and it serves as an inspiration for other students.
