DAV Nandraj Public School, Bariatu celebrated Bonfire Night with great enthusiasm. It was a unique and memorable event in which the students of Class XI warmly greeted and bid farewell to the students of Class XII with laughter, songs, and heartfelt wishes.

The evening celebration began at 4:30 p.m. with a Havan–Yajna, the cornerstone of Vedic culture. The students prayed to the Almighty, seeking blessings to fulfill their noble resolutions for their future lives. This was followed by a welcome song presented by the Class XI students, beautifully expressing the emotions of a farewell.

The Vice-Captain addressed the gathering, and a few students recited meaningful poems with great expression. Under the Fun Fiesta, students showcased their special talents. A powerful street play was presented, which held the audience spellbound and effectively conveyed deep emotions. The dance performances and the Crown Ceremony were equally entertaining and enjoyable.

The bonfire itself was a unique experience, where students enjoyed music along with dinner, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere.

On this special occasion, the Principal, Dr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary, addressed the students by reciting two self-composed poems. He reminded them that the values and guidance imparted over the years would now be put to test as they step into a new phase of life.

He emphasized that hard work done in the right direction never fails. Sometimes life may not give us exactly what we desire, but sincere effort often rewards us with something even greater. He assured the students of the school’s constant support and encouraged them to bring glory to their family and the nation.

In the end, the students enjoyed dinner and melodious music around the bonfire and bid farewell with gifts and cherished memories.
