Constitution Day Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm at D.A.V. Nandraj Public School !

D.A.V. Nandraj Public School celebrated Constitution Day with great enthusiasm, pride, and patriotic spirit. The event was conducted by the Bal Sansad along with the Student Council, under the leadership of the Head Girl, Vishalakshi Anand.

The day began with a special assembly, in which all the students of the school participated and took the Constitution Day pledge together, reaffirming their commitment to the values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. This collective moment added great meaning and unity to the celebration.

The programme continued with a beautiful and inspiring speech by Vesalakshi, the Head of the Bal Sansad. In her address, she highlighted the importance and values of the Indian Constitution and remembered the remarkable contributions of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and other great leaders who played a key role in framing the Constitution.

Students presented the Fundamental Rights along with their respective Articles, helping the audience understand the pillars of Indian democracy. A special multimedia presentation was displayed, beautifully narrating the values, significance, and spirit of the Constitution and its relevance in modern India.

A quiz competition was also conducted, consisting of questions related to the Constitution. Students participated enthusiastically, answering confidently and showcasing their knowledge.

The school’s musical group, WAVES, added vibrance to the event with a melodious and energetic patriotic song, uplifting the spirit of the gathering. Mrs. Deepa Jaiswal, teacher of the Social Science Department, shared a thoughtful insight on the importance of the Constitution and encouraged students to uphold its values in their daily lives.

The Constitution Day pledge was administered by Sara of Class 12, while Riya Kumar Singh of Class 8 proudly read out the Preamble. Together, they led the gathering in reaffirming their dedication to the constitutional ideals.

Various other activities were also conducted at Goonj, aligning with the theme of the day and encouraging students to engage deeply with constitutional values through interactive and creative tasks.

In his concluding address, Dr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary, Principal, emphasized the importance of understanding and practicing the Fundamental Duties. He explained how these duties are connected to the life of every student and play a vital role in shaping responsible, disciplined, and value-driven citizens. He urged everyone to follow rules and regulations and contribute positively to society.

The celebration concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem, marking a proud and patriotic end to the day.
