We are proud to share that 30 students from DAV Nandraj Public School actively participated in the prestigious Himalayan Conclave 2025, held on 3rd and 4th August at Shaurya Sabhagar (JAP-1), Ranchi.

Organized by the Ideate Inspire Ignite Foundation, the event brought together some of India’s most celebrated mountaineers, thought leaders, and youth changemakers.

Our students had the rare opportunity to interact closely with 25 Everest summiters, learning firsthand about their journeys of courage, endurance, and determination. Among the key figures they met were:

Chhonzin Angmo, the first visually impaired Indian woman to summit Mount Everest, who reached the 8,848.86 m peak on May 19, 2025.

Kaamya Karthikeyan, the second youngest girl to scale Mount Everest in 2024—an inspiring symbol of youthful ambition and grit.

P. Vishwanath Karthikeyan, the youngest Indian to complete the Seven Summit Challenge, having climbed the highest peaks across all seven continents.

These inspiring conversations left a powerful impact on our students, motivating them to push boundaries and dream big.

The event also featured the IMF Film Festival, powerful keynote talks, and panel discussions on several critical global issues, including:

Climate Change and Sustainable Action

Cybersecurity in a Digital World

Women in Adventure Sports

Fitness & Resilience

Exploration of the Indian Himalayas

These discussions offered students valuable insights into global challenges and the role of youth in shaping a better tomorrow.

The Himalayan Conclave 2025 was a truly enriching and transformative experience for our students instilling in them the spirit of leadership, resilience, and responsible global citizenship.

Mountains don’t just teach you how to climb. They teach you how to rise.
