On the occasion of World Environment Day, DAV Nandraj Public School, Bariatu launched a significant green initiative by setting a target of planting 500 saplings within the school premises to promote environmental sustainability.
The plantation drive was led by the President of the School Managing Committee, Mr. Prem Prakash Arya, and the Principal, Dr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary, who actively took part in planting the trees.
Various tree species including Gulmohar, Neem, and other ecologically significant varieties were planted, reinforcing the school’s commitment to biodiversity and a cleaner, greener environment.
In his address, Dr. Tiwary emphasized the importance of environmental responsibility and stated, “Every tree we plant today is a step toward securing a better and healthier future for our planet.”
The event concluded with a collective pledge to protect nature and contribute towards a greener Earth.
