On the occasion of National Sports Day 2024, commemorating the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand, D.A.V. Nandraj Public School organized an Interhouse Football Tournament.
The event showcased the athletic spirit and teamwork among the students.
The first match saw Dayanand house triumph over Vivekanand house with a score of 2-1. In the second match, Shraddhanand house emerged victorious against Aurobindo house in a thrilling penalty shootout.
The final showdown between Dayanand and Shraddhanand was intense, with Shraddhanand securing a decisive 2-0 victory.
The tournament concluded on a high note, with Principal Dr. Ravi Prakash Tiwary commending the participants for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
The event was a fitting tribute to Major Dhyan Chand and a celebration of the school’s commitment to sports.
